The purpose of this position is to support the day-to-day operations of the HELP Center (food center in Bristol, PA). Primary responsibilities include maintaining receipt, inventory, distribution, and delivery of food for distribution, as well as other general warehouse responsibilities. The HELP Center Coordinator is a team-oriented role that works collaboratively with other BCOC Food Programs. This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Bristol, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee receipt of all incoming and outgoing product from the United States and/or Pennsylvania departments of agriculture, local donors, food drives, and other food banks.
  • Responsible for the proper storage of food products safely and securely, consistent with health regulations.
  • Assist the food program with inventory of all products and analyze shortages and gains.
  • Assist in the delegation of product assignment, categorizing which product is allocated to which program.
  • Provide technical support for food drives and build relationships to increase the amount of products donated to BCOC.
  • Manage volunteers and volunteer needs.
  • Provide back-up support to the Central Bucks storage facility when needed.
  • Provide staff support to the Fresh Connect food program when needed.
  • Ability to drive a cargo van to pick up or deliver food to pantries.
  • Regularly lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Manually operate hand equipment to move up to 2,000 pounds.
  • Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance plan for warehouse, equipment, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; or one-year related experience in warehouse operations/food distribution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must exhibit exceptional professionalism and customer service.
  • Valid PA driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Salary range: $40,000-$43,000 per year

The position performs routine clerical and administrative functions. This full-time position reports to the Fiscal Director, is hybrid remote, and is based out of Doylestown, PA.

Responsibilities

    • Regular and reliable in-person attendance as outlined for position in Remote Work Policy
    • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Reconcile and balances accounts
    • Make expense-related G/L entries
    • Reconcile and balance Clients to Success financial data with accounting software as assigned
    • Reconcile and balance Donor Perfect data with accounting software as assigned
    • Maintain various office files according to the agency’s records retention policy
    • Adhere to agency confidentiality policies
    • Prepare statistics and reports as assigned
    • Update and maintain building inventory as assigned
    • Track leases and assets as assigned
    • Participate in approved professional development training annually
    • Record checks received daily and Weekly deposits as assigned
    • Bank account maintenance and reconciliation(s) as assigned
    • Assist with preparation of periodic financial statements and other reports as required by the Fiscal Director, Chief Financial Officer, or Executive Director
    • Assist in maintenance of computerized accounting system
    • Assist with preparation of agency, department, and grant budgets

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Valid PA driver’s license and auto insurance
    • PA criminal, FBI fingerprint, and Child Abuse clearances

Salary range: $45,000 – $52,000.00 per year
